Biography

Formed in 2010 by leading members of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Kreisler Quartet Luxembourg has a reputation for eclectic and imaginative programming and is hailed for exciting, innovative performance.
They have appeared in concert series and festivals in Luxembourg, Germany and France, most recently taking part in the "Phil Live" series of online concerts organised by the Luxembourg Philharmonie viewed by more than 10,000 people. Visit our Facebook page to see a video of our latest concert.
Apart from the standard classical and romantic repertoire, the quartet has included and commissioned compositions by Luxembourgish contemporary composers, in particular Camille Kerger and Alexander Mullenbach. They have also recorded works by the eminent Chinese composer Gao Ping as well as the Serenades by Theodore Gouvy.
